Timko Tax & Accounting Services was organized in 1995 to assist our tax clients in the preparation of their income tax returns.  We currently prepare Personal, Small Business, S-Corporation, Limited Liability Corporation, Trust and Estate income tax returns.

Our company focuses on analyzing our clients’ financial information and giving them insight into tax planning into the future to minimize their income tax liability.  Every client is given one-on-one attention and advice to meet their unique tax situation. We believe your time is valuable, so all clients can schedule an appointment with us that works around their busy life schedule.

We do more than just income tax planning and income tax return preparation.  We perform small business payroll, business accounting, and assist businesses in determining the business structure that will meet their long term goals.

Owner

Brent started Timko Tax in 1995.  He has several years of accounting experience working for Fortune 500 companies in Omaha.  Brent obtained a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and an MBA in Finance from the University of Nebraska – Omaha.  He is a member of the Beta Alpha Psi Honorary Accounting Fraternity.

Brent is an Enrolled Agent, representing tax clients before the Internal Revenue Service.  He is a member of NAEA and NATP.

Brenda Shipley

Tax Preparer, Office Manager

Brenda started preparing income tax returns with Timko Tax in 2013.  She prepares Personal, Small Business, and LLC income tax returns. Prior to coming to Timko Tax, Brenda worked in the banking industry for many years, along with being involved in the Real Estate business for several years.  She is also the office Notary.

In addition, she coordinates all office activities, purchasing decisions, and ensures all customers’ needs are met.

Stephanie joined Timko Tax in 2018.  She is primarily responsible for small business payroll and accounting.  In addition, she files Nebraska Sales Tax and Omaha Restaurant Tax for our business clients.

Emily Novacek

Administrative Assistant

Emily joined Timko Tax in 2018.  She is primarily responsible for client communications, scheduling client appointments, and collecting tax client information.  She will be the first person to greet you in our office. In addition, Emily performs small business accounting and payroll.
